I became an educator because:	I chose Education and specifically, Special Education, because I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their challenges and that all children should have the opportunity to learn the skills they need to lead the most independent and fulfilling life they can have. It is most gratifying to see our adult students in their school community and outside in the community using the knowledge and skills that we have taught them to be successful.
