Priorities and Progress

The Comprehensive Education Plan (CEP) includes the goals and strategies of a specific school for 2025-2026. There are required areas of focus called priorities. The CEP has three periods of progress monitoring: November, March and June.

Priority 1 All students learn to read well

By June 2026, literacy for Students with Disabilities (SWD) will improve as measured by a 25% increase, from 0% to 25% of students showing growth on the SANDI Foundational Skills and iReady reports.

Priority 2 All students are physically and emotionally safe

By June 2026, physical and mental wellness for Students with Disabilities (SWD) will improve, as measured by a 5.5% increase in percentage of students who decrease in frequency, intensity and duration of target behaviors from 29.5% to 35%, per the BIP progress monitoring.

Priority 3 All students have a high-quality academic experience

By June 2026, the percentage of students improving reading skills will increase by 25% from 0% to 25% for Students with Disabilities (SWD), as measured by SANDI Reading for Information and iReady Comprehension.

Priority 5 All districts and schools are more inclusive and responsive for parents and families, including having more families choose NYC Public Schools

By June 2026, the percentage of parents/families attending at least two in person school events (site or school-based) will increase by 24% from 241 to 300 as measured by the Parent Coordinator Activity Reports, Parent Teacher Conference Registration Reports, Sign In Sheets for Site and School Based Events.

Chronic Absentees

By June 2026, the School wide attendance for Students with Disabilities (SWD) will increase by 4%, from 81% to 85%, as measured by the ATS attendance reports.

Quality Individualized Education Program (IEP)

By June 2026, the percentage of IEPs for Students with Disabilities (SWD) will increase by 14%, from 71% to 85% as measured by SESIS reporting and a school-wide checklist.

By June 2026, to strengthen the quality and implementation of IEPs for Students with Disabilities (SWD), we will improve Development of appropriate post-secondary goals and services by completing vocational assessments by the IEP finalization data by a 15% Increase, from 70% to 95%, as measured by SESIS and school-wide checklist.
